Adriana Mariel Rullan, a former United ISD teacher and coach, was found guilty by a Webb County jury on June 30, 2026 of continuous sexual abuse of a child younger than 14, improper relationship between an educator and a student, and indecency with a child by sexual contact. On July 1, 2026 she was sentenced to 33 years in prison. The relationship began while the student attended Antonio Gonzalez Middle School.
