Andrew Palmore, a former teacher at Blanco Vista Elementary School in Hays CISD who previously taught at Casey Elementary School in Austin, was found guilty by a Hays County jury of continuous sexual abuse of children. On October 16, 2025, the same jury sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
