What the source reports

Bernard Shero, a former lay teacher at St. Jerome parish school in Northeast Philadelphia, was convicted in 2013 of sexually assaulting a boy who attended the school, but a judge later vacated that conviction. In August 2017 he pleaded no contest to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, endangering the welfare of a child and corruption of a minor. He was sentenced to time served plus 10 years of probation.

Official sex offender registries

BadFaculty is not a sex offender registry. A record here does not mean this person is, or ever was, required to register, and absence from a registry does not mean a person was not convicted. Whether registration is required depends on the offense, the state and when the case was decided, and registrations can end or be removed. We do not search registries for the people listed here or show registry results.

These are government websites. BadFaculty is not affiliated with them and does not copy, host or verify their data; their information can be incomplete or out of date, so confirm details with the agency that maintains the registry. Using registry information to threaten, intimidate or harass anyone, including registrants and their families, may be a crime.
