Brian Crowder, a former dean of students at Greater Lawndale High School for Social Justice in Chicago, was found guilty by a Cook County jury in July 2025 of aggravated criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving a student. On August 12, 2025, he was sentenced to 22 years in prison.
