What the source reports
Christopher Kenji Bendann, a former teacher at The Gilman School in Baltimore, was found guilty by a federal jury in August 2024 of five counts of sexual exploitation of a child, three counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, and one count of cyberstalking involving a student. On January 21, 2025, he was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison followed by lifetime supervised release. The Fourth Circuit affirmed in June 2026.
