Douglas John Allison, principal and a grades 4-8 teacher at Mountain View Christian School in Sequim, Washington, a private school operated by the Washington Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, pleaded guilty in Clallam County Superior Court to two counts of first-degree child molestation and two counts of first-degree rape of a child involving two students under 12 at his school. On September 14, 2016, he was sentenced to indeterminate terms of 198 months to life and 318 months to life, and his teaching certificate was permanently revoked.
