Jeffrey Stanton, a former teacher and track coach at Stanhope Elmore High School in Elmore County, Alabama, was found guilty by a jury on March 20, 2015, of the misdemeanor of a school employee having sexual contact with a student under 19, involving a 17-year-old student.
