Mark Anthony Santo, a former Long Beach teacher at Jordan High School and Lindbergh Middle School, was convicted at trial in June 2023 of two counts of lewd acts on a child plus forcible sexual penetration and forcible oral copulation, involving three girls, two of them former students. He was sentenced on Oct. 17, 2023, to 80 years to life in prison.
